Monday 25 April marks the start of term 3 this year, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the department after the break.

Professor Tom Hase (Magnetic X-ray Scattering group), Co-Director of XMaS alongside Co-Director Dr Didier Wermeille (University of Liverpool) has developed materials aimed at secondary schools to learn about 'The power of X-rays in Material Science' at the European Synchrotron.

On Monday 28th March, staff from the department will attend our annual Christmas lunch, which has been delayed from December 2021 due to government guidelines. We're looking forward to celebrating our lunch after this being postponed for the last two years.
