Undergraduates can take an optional third year module on 'Communicating Science'. This involves several assessed assignments including writing a short fact sheet explaining a topic in physics or the physical principles behind the workings of an everyday object or phenomenon. The level of the fact sheets is aimed at an audience of schoolchildren who are nearing the end of their GCSE studies.
