- The entry must be the work of a class of Year 6 pupils.
- Only one entry is allowed per class, every class in a school is allowed to submit their own entry.
- The entry must be representable as a still image, or by a digital photograph (this is so it can be included in the calendar if you win).
- The entry must be submitted so that it reaches the Snapshots of Science team by midnight on the 17th of December. Preferred method of entry is by the online entry form. Alternatively please email it to us, including the name and contact telephone number of the teacher, name and address of the school, and confirming that we have permission to reproduce the image (see final rule). If neither the online form nor email are possible then please send a hard copy to us with the same information (Snapshots of Science, Department of Physics, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL).
- All involved in the entry must give permission for the ScienceSnaps team to use it as they see fit, for example in digital form on the ScienceSnaps website, in its original form at an exhibition, and a component of it in the ScienceSnaps calendar. The entries may also be used for future promotional material and to help us in our educational outreach work. We may need to modify or select certain aspects of the entry to do so. The entrants will retain the right to use the entry for their own purposes.
