Acknowledgement
The facility must be acknowledged in any publication or presentation arising wholly or partly from an allocation of time.
Users must inform the facility of all publications, presentations, and PhD thesis where results obtained at the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR facility are presented.
Text for acknowledgement in a publication for results obtained at the Facility after January 5th 2020:
"The UK High-Field Solid-State NMR Facility used in this research was funded by EPSRC and BBSRC (EP/T015063/1Link opens in a new window), ***insert appropriate 850 MHz and/or 1 GHz text as follows***"
For results at 850 MHz:
"as well as the University of Warwick including via part funding through Birmingham Science City Advanced Materials Projects 1 and 2 supported by Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)."
For results at 1 GHz:
"as well as, for the 1 GHz instrument, EP/R029946/1Link opens in a new window."
Where the Facility Manager Team, Dinu Iuga and /or Trent Franks, has made a significant contribution to obtaining results at the Facility, the Facility Executive asks users to consider whether it is appropriate to include Dinu and / or Trent as a co-author in any publication presenting these results. If the Facility Manager is NOT a co-author on a publication presenting results obtained at the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR Facility, the following wording is ADDITIONALLY to be included in the acknowledgements:
"Collaborative assistance from the Facility Manager Team (Dinu Iuga and /or Trent Franks, University of Warwick) is acknowledged."
Text for acknowledgement in a publication for results obtained at the Facility between January 5th 2015 and January 4th 2020:
