A new paper has been published in the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Energy & Environmental Science by postdoc Yi Yuan, which has been selected as a ‘Research Highlight’ by Nature Energy due to its importance in the field.

Professor Julie Staunton awarded 2025 Wohlfarth Lectureship
We congratulate Prof. Julie Staunton (Theoretical Physics Group), who has received the 2025 Wohlfarth Memorial Lecturer Award from the IoP Magnetism Group. She delivered a plenary lecture at the Magnetism 2025 conference which took place in Sheffield on the 7th and 8th April.
PhD student selected to present at House of Commons
Ananya Singh, a third-year PhD student under the supervision of Dr Wing Ying Chow, was selected to present her research at the prestigious STEM for Britain event held at the House of Commons on March 11, 2025. Her research focuses on the 'Development of solid-state NMR approaches for probing fungal and human matrices with relevance to human disease.'
