Congratulations on your offer of a place at Warwick!

We’re looking forward to welcoming you all for the academic year 2025/26. We’re sure that the next year will be exciting, challenging and rewarding, and we hope that you’ll make the most of all the opportunities available to you here at WMG.

Information regarding your induction, as well as links to key information, can all be found on these webpages. Please read your pre-arrival checklists carefully and make sure you’ve completed the required steps! During the first few days of Welcome Week, there will also be several induction sessions, during which you’ll be able to ask questions and meet key people in the team.

Pre-Arrival Checklists

What do I have to do before arriving at WMG?

    1. Enrol and register for your IT & email account on the Welcome to Warwick pages

    2. Complete the 'International Student Success' course(international students only)
    3. As part of the enrolment process, you'll need to complete the online Student Conduct Moodle.
    4. View the WMG Student Portal. The portal is full of information about induction and your course! (you will only be view this once you've completed enrolment).
    5. Download the MyWarwick app
    6. View your Welcome Week timetable! This will go live to students in September.

      Welcome Week

      WMG induction will take place during Week 0 (29th September – 3rd October) and Week 1 (6th - 10th October) of term. It is really important that you attend your WMG induction and engage with the timetabled sessions, as they will provide a grounding for your course, as well as allowing you to:

      • Learn about the structure and requirements of your course
      • Discover more about the opportunities available to you at WMG
      • Get to know other students on your course
      • Meet key members of staff in WMG

      A detailed timetable of induction sessions will be available through the Welcome Week platform and via Tabula in September.

      Please bring your laptop/smart device to induction sessions.

      Term Dates

      The Full-time Masters course is one full year (September 2025 - September 2026). Postgraduate study does not follow the usual University term dates; you are expected to be available to attend taught sessions throughout the year.

      The only exceptions are the following dates when the University is closed during Christmas week and Easter weekend.
