Tim Sullivan, a student from the Warwick Institute of Mathematics, was among 50 top students from Europe and the Middle East who gathered at Hursley Lab in the UK for a three-day recognition event hosted by IBM EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Pavel Erochkine, a BSc Economics & International Studies graduate from the University of Warwick, has been nominated for the New Statesman's "Young Social Entrepreneur" Award, one of the 6 UpStart Awards. He is competing with 13 other candidates for the Award, which highlights and rewards individuals with extraordinary vision and a commitment to social enterprise.

Improving the participation of women in the sub-regional labour market has recently been the focus of a major research project by the Institute for Employment Research, commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council, Coventry and Warwickshire with funding support from the European Social Fund.
