Following on from the discussion on the University and the environment, on insite Forum, today sees the launch of the University’s new Environment website.

This is a new site which the Policing and Crime Reduction Group at the Home Office hope will grow in to a “one stop shop” for all crime reduction and personal safety advice issues relating to students, whether on or off campus and during term time and vacation. It will also be relevant to parents with children in higher education, as well as all those working in higher education institutions.

The National Academy for Talented and Gifted Youth Summer School 2003 is on its way, offering new opportunities and challenges for Academy members.

Three new content directories have been published on insite which bring together links to useful information from across Warwick's websites.

If you are, or you know of, someone who is over 50 and doing inspired things on the Internet or with email then Silver Surfer Day is a chance to recognise their achievements. The event is on 16 May 2003 and is part of Adult Learners' Week.

In October of last year, the University launched an initiative called the Warwick Learning Account (WLA), a new venture to encourage and support continued staff development.
