ITLR Outputs and Evaluation

With 90% of reviews complete, the ITLR Project Team is now changing its focus to report-writing support and submission. We are offering drop-in sessions for secretariat and panel chairs, who have been invited to the following sessions, taking place on Teams:

Thursday 22 June 4:00-4:30

Monday 26 June 3:30-4:00

Tuesday 4 July 12:00-12:30

Reports will then go through the ITLR Moderation process, which was outlined in the May issue of the Education Bulletin – the final stage of the review process proper.

Video Testimonials

We have been asking colleagues to reflect on the ITLR, whether they were part of a review panel or on the department or cluster side, and have been recording testimonials from those involved to gather feedback and provide a record of their experiences.

We are already discovering a range of learnings and insights gained through the process, and would like to give our thanks to those who have given a testimonial so far. This is a really valuable account of your experiences of the process, and we are grateful to everyone who has given their time.

Highlights from the testimonials so far include:

The project exceeding expectations around knowledge and practice exchange.

  • The benefits of integrating Warwick stakeholders, such as professional services staff and students, into the review process, as their point of view contributes significantly to discussions.
  • The importance of carrying out a review process that takes the administrative burden into account.
  • Nurturing a culture of active interest and commitment to creating a University-wide strategy.

If you would like to contribute with your reflections, more testimonials will be recorded on Tuesday 27 June. Please email the ITLR Project Team if you would like to participate.

ITLR Evaluation Focus Groups and Interviews

As we move towards the end of the ITLR process, we are evaluating how the ITLR has functioned.

We are holding a range of focus groups and interviews, in addition to online surveys, to gather your feedback. They have been arranged based on stakeholder types. We are looking for 8-10 people per group, and they will be held online.

If you would like to take part in a focus group, please contact us and let us know which event you would like to join. If you would like to take part in an individual interview, please email us and we will arrange it around your availability.

Dates and times of upcoming focus groups are available here.

Outputs

As part of our evaluation of the ITLR, we will be producing a range of outputs, which will cover in-depth analysis of every part of the review, including:

  • Findings and trends in reviews of academic departments
  • Findings and trends in reviews of professional services clusters
  • Common themes
  • Bespoke themes
  • Student contribution
  • Social inclusion
