International Student Christmans Conference 2021 Providing two funded places to international, UK-based PhD students in any discipline and any year of study. Application deadline 19 November 2021.

Life Beyond the PhD Conference 2021 Providing a funded place to a PhD student, who is in their second or third year (or part-time equivalent) of registration in any discipline. Application deadline 11 June 2021.

Researcher Development Networking Fund Providing up to £300 to build and disseminate a PGR network. Application deadlines 22 January & 26 APril 2022.

Student-led Conferences Providing up to £50 for small student-led conference epxenses. Rolling deadline.

Fellowships & Bursaries

Leverhulme Postgradaute Bursaries Providing up to £5000 to UK university students, who are in financial need and have a parent or spouse or are employed themselves, as a commercial traveller, pharmacist or grocer.

IAS Early Career Fellowships Providing up to three-term 0.5 FTE funded fellowships to completing Warwick doctoral candidates in the transition phase between their doctoral and independent postdoctoral research careers.

Sasakawa Japanese Studies Postgraduate Studentships Providing up to£10,000 one-year bursaries to three PGR or PGT students in Japanese Studies.

Enhancing Research Culture: Internal funding opportunity An internal call for projects that can enhance research culture, with awards up to a maximum of £50,000 being available for spend by 31 July 2022. Applications are invited via a short application form to be submitted by midday on Friday 14 January 2022.

Scholarships for Canadian Postgraduates studying in the UK The Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund (CCSF) award competition opens Monday 10 January 2022 for applications by Canadian students pursuing full-time, multi-year postgraduate programmes in any field of study in the United Kingdom. The deadline for applications is Friday 11 March 2022 at midnight.

Canada Memorial Foundation Scholarships for PGT applicants for 2022/2023 entry to one year Master’s degrees. The deadline for applications is Monday 31 January 2022.

Hardship

Funded COVID Extensions Providing up to six months of additional stipend and registrsation to China Scholarship Council, Warwick (central and departmental schoalrships), UKRI Training Grant and Wolfson Foundation funded PGR students due to the COVID pandemic.

PGR Hardship Fund (Doctoral College) Providing up to three months at 50% stipend rate to PGR students who are experiencing unforseen excpetional financial hardship.

Student Funding Emergency Loans Providing up to £250 to students who are experiencing short-term financial difficulty and who are having problems meeting their essential day to day living costs.

Warwick PG Hardship Fund (Student Funding) Providing needs-based financial support to students who cannot access funding through other means.

Travel

EUTOPIA Doctoral Mobility Programme Providing up to €5000 to PhD students enrolled in a doctoral programme of one of the EUTOPIA universities and wishing to conduct a research visit at another EUTOPIA university.

Early Career Researcher Travel Grants Listing externally funded travel grants for early career researchers.

Monash-Warwick Alliance PhD Travel Grant Providing up to £2000 for reasonable travel expenses to help build research connections between Monash and Warwick.

Royal Soceity Lisa Jardine Grant Providing up to £8000 for travel and subsistence in support of archival research.
