Library Road - Emergency Works affecting accessible parking
Due to emergency repairs to a large duct cover in the vicinity of the accessible parking bays outside Engineering on Library Road, regrettably, it is essential for some of those spaces to be taken out of action for the duration of the works. This is unavoidable due to the location of the damaged duct cover. During the works, we will strive to maintain access to at least 2 of the 5 accessible parking bays. If you need access to accessible parking and these spaces are full, you may park considerately on the double yellow lines opposite the bays but a valid blue badge or disability permit must be displayed at all times.
It is anticipated that the works will take place over the next few months. This is due to specialist materials that need to be made to complete the works. Updates will be posted when available.
New external ramp construction - Warwick Business School
We are excited that a new external ramp is to be constructed between WBS and Gibbet Hill Road from Monday 22/03/2021 and Friday 30/04/2021. As a result, pedestrian diversions and traffic management will be in place along Gibbet Hill Road.
The ramp will replace the tapered steps and provide a new shorter step free route into the main reception entrance of WBS from Gibbet Hill Road and central campus.
Central Campus works
Works are progressing for the construction of the new Faculty of Arts building on the site of Car Park 7 as well as the next phase of Warwick Arts Centre.
Kirby Corner Car Park
The new car park on Kirby Corner Road will be opening on the 28th January 2019, with information for blue badge holders.
