A46 closure: 8pm Friday 11 April - 6am Thursday 1 May

An infographic displaying the closure dates of the A46 near Kenilworth between 8pm Friday 11th April to 6am Thursday 1st May.

Balfour Beatty VINCI are working, in partnership with HS2 and National Highways, to construct the A46 box structure which will carry the new HS2 line under the A46 near Kenilworth. To support this, the A46 Kenilworth Bypass will be closed for up to 3 weeks. The closure period will be:

From 8pm on Friday 11 April until 6am Thursday 1 May 2025

A clearly signed diversion route will be in place over this period with advance signage in place to help remind motorists of the closure.

We would encourage everyone to follow the diversion route, plan ahead and importantly leave more time for journeys. For information on the diversions, please visit https://assets.hs2.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Notice-of-HS2-works-A46-April-19-day-road-closure.pdfLink opens in a new window.
