How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Mindfulness practice is one of the 5 ways to wellbeing recommended by the NHS. Doing regular mindfulness exercises can help manage daily stress and has impact areas of the brain related to memory retrieval, decision making, and outward attention.

Our free weekly workshops are a great way to try mindfulness techniques if you are a beginner and find dedicated space and time for regular practice. The sessions are split into two parts, the first exploring brief everyday techniques, and the second part being a longer, more focused practice.

On Track - Microsoft Office365 Productivity Tools

As well as the main programs in Office365, there are some useful tools than can help you organise your notes, your studies and your daily schedule.

In this session we will introduce and briefly demo three Microsoft 365 Apps; OneDrive, OneNote and To-Do. We will discuss how these apps can help you to stay organised and increase your productivity. You will also hear from a current Warwick postgraduate student as to how these apps have aided their research and studies during their time at Warwick.

This workshop will be held as a webinar via Microsoft Teams.

Want to know more about managing your references, saving time and avoiding plagiarism?

The webinar will introduce you to the desktop version of EndNote and will demonstrate how to import or add references to your library, how to create groups, how to attach full text articles. It will also show you how to use the Cite While You Write function in Microsoft Word to generate citations and bibliographies.

On Track - Qualtrics for Postgrads (1/2)

Using surveys and questionnaires in your research?

Qualtrics is an easy-to-use service that allows you to develop, deploy, and analyse surveys via the Web. No complicated set-up or technical knowledge is required. Qualtrics allows you to create unlimited numbers of surveys for unlimited respondents.

This workshop will be held across two different sessions. This first session will introduce how to access Qualtrics, create a survey, edit the survey options, and translate your survey.

These sessions will be held as webinars via Microsoft Teams.
