Service Notice - E-Resources

Issues with access to Library e-resources

On Wednesday 29/1/25 we are aware of issues with access Library e-resources via a particular login method and are working with University IT and the supplier of our Library Management System to resolve these problems.

In the interim many of our e-resource platforms are accessible via a different route which should still be working. To check this please try one of the following solutions:
  • Navigate to the Library Databases page and search for the platform that the resource you are trying to link to is available from. Try logging in via the main link and if that doesn't work check if there is an alternative link to the platform in the 'Advisory note' for this platform.
  • Use a search engine to find the platform which your e-resource is on and look for options to login. Check to see if there is an option for institutional/educational login, shibboleth login or something similar. If you find this option look for University of Warwick among the list of different institutions and click through to log in via the Warwick Web Sign-on system
