About Creative Community Place
Creative Community Place (formerly named the Teaching Grid) is a flexible space on Floor 2 of the Main Library that provides opportunities for experimentation and innovation in teaching methods. The room can be divided into ‘zones’ with its flexible furniture and curtains and has 7 projectors to ensure that everybody has the perfect view of your content. To the rear of the room is the ‘Thinking Space’ with soft furnishings and plants to encourage creativity away from digital distractions, whilst elsewhere in the room the ‘Creation Station’ is home to LEGO, pens, Post-its and more to assist with brainstorming. The space is bookable by university staff only.

- The session leader must supervise students or visitors attending a session while in the space
- To help maintain the spaces for everyone, please ensure rooms are left tidy at the end of your booking.
