Activators and Scholarship athletes recognised for outstanding sporting contributions
The Activators and Scholar Celebration evening honours the hard work and dedication of the sport volunteers and scholarship athletes at the University of Warwick.
Warwick scholar takes home BUCS National Championships gold
University of Warwick Sports Scholar Yasmin Liverpool won the Gold in the 400m sprint at the BUCS National Championships in Sheffield on 17 February. The British Universities & College Sports National Championships are held yearly and play host to the top athletes from all over the country.
Mens & Women's Volleyball Clubs make Student Cup Finals
Both men’s and women’s teams fought hard at the Student Cup qualifiers in November 2018, and both of them made it to the Student Cup finals in Norwich! Once more, they both proved to be among the top 16 University volleyball teams in the country.
Great Results for our Rowing team!
Great results for our Performance Sport Rowing teams at Wallingford, Oxfordshire last weekend. Finishing 3rd in Open 8+ Band 2, which consisted of so many crews our team will undoubtedly be competing for spaces at Henley Royal Regatta.

Tom Hall: World Archery
After crashing out in the first round, stage 1 of the World Cup in Shanghai, Tom only had a couple of weeks to pull himself together for stage 2 in Antalya, Turkey. A week of hard physical training with a more powerful bow and a good result at the UK masters, set him up well this time and he came in feeling more confident and determined to do better.

Alice Cobb: From Student to Racer
This time last year, Alice Cobb was preparing to help launch the first ever Warwickshire stage of the Women's Tour at the University of Warwick as a member of the Cycling club. Fast forward 12 months, and she will be racing through our campus and her former place of study for 2017 OVO Energy Women's Tour.
