Outbound Study Abroad 2014/2015
Outbound Study Abroad 2014/2015
We are fast approaching the end of this Study Abroad Year, if you haven’t finished already, and there are a few things that you need to remember:
• To submit any outstanding forms you might have as soon as possible. You can easily check what is outstanding by looking in your Unique Study Abroad Folder and cross referencing with the checklist relevant to your placement(s).
Do remember that at this time of year the Study Abroad Team is managing your cohort of 550+ outbound students, next year’s cohort of 600+ outbound students and the same two years inbound student cohorts of around 1200 students. Checking your file yourself is by far the quickest and simplest way for you to ensure you have submitted everything. Study Abroad Co-ordinators’ are working through the unique folders and will email if there are any issues or missing forms:
• The deadline for all paperwork and forms submissions is 31st August 2015 at the latest. If you finish before this, you must submit the forms as soon as possible on completion of your placement;
• if have you been studying or working in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands or Spain and started your placement on or after 01 January 2015. Make sure that you have completed both of your online linguistics tests, please do this as soon as possible or immediately your placement finishes, whichever is the soonest.
Leaving the best part until last:
• The final allocation of Erasmus+ funding for 2014/2015 has now been received in the University. The money is being processed into the University accounts and we are managing all eligible completions to pass them to Finance for payments to be made. If you believe that you have met your compliance regulations and have not received your payment by 14 August 2015, please contact us and we will follow this up for you.
CONGRATULATIONS on completing your Study Abroad year, we would like to wish you every success for your final year on your return to Warwick in October. Please do remember that your experiences and advice will be invaluable to future Study Abroad students and if you haven’t already done so, providing a ‘down-to-earth, students eye’ report about your stay, destination, host institution and anything else you can think of that will help them in making a decision and then in their preparations would be great.
Wishing you a very happy and restful summer vacation.
