Located in Beijing, the national capital of China, Tsinghua University has a rich and interesting history. Tsinghua was founded in 1911, and is firmly among the ranks of China’s best universities.
Programme Information
The two-week summer programme offers a star team of multidisciplinary tutors who will facilitate team projects, site visits to spaces of contemporary or historical significance and round-table discussions. The programme will culminate in a forum to be designed and facilitated by students themselves. The forum will exhibit their discoveries and insights in China, and promote their collaborative problem-solving proposals developed during the programme. Scholarship Details
The scholarship covers the following:
· Registration fee
· Tuition fee
· Housing (on-campus accommodation for international students for two-week period, mainly en-suite single rooms)
· Basic accident insurance for two-week period in Beijing
Students are responsible for self-funding airfare costs, healthcare costs, medical insurance, tourism and living expenses.
Application for Scholarship Award
Applications for Summer 2016 are open now, for 2 students to take part. The programme is available to all undergraduate students from across all disciplines at Warwick.
Sadly, this programme is not open to Visiting, Exchange or Erasmus+ students spending a year or less at the university.
The application deadline is 11.00am on Friday 13th May 2016. Applications are now closed for Summer 2016.
The application comprises of a short online form, and you will be asked to provide a 200 word essay detailing why you wish to attend the programme and why you should be selected for the scholarship award.
