Disabled Students' Allowance and Financial Support

Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is available to help cover the study-related costs you have because of a mental health problem, long-term illness or any other disability.

The type of support and how much you get depends on your individual needs - not your household income.

 En-suite Subsidy

The University offers support to current students who incur additional costs as a result of a disability due to a requirement for en-suite accommodation.

 Other financial support

In addition to Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), you may be able to access other hardship funds, not only from the University but also from charities and trusts.
