I'm in a crisis (emergency support)

If you feel at risk of harm or require immediate help, please read our emergency contact information. Emergency support is available on campus by contacting our Community Safety team or using the Safezone app. You can also read about off-campus emergency information.

Our Wellbeing and Student Support teams provide specialist disability support, counselling and psychotherapy, mental health support, health and wellbeing services, sexual and domestic abuse support, and self-help resources.

I need support with my health

Access information about vaccinations, guidance on registering with a local medical practice, and how to access sexual health services.

I need academic support

You have a whole support network in place to help you with your academic studies. From academic staff to personal tutors and independent academic advice from the Students' Union, access guidance to help manage academic stress, exams, coursework and learning.

I'm struggling with, studies, exams or assessments

Life can be unpredictable, and personal challenges can get in the way of your studies. Speak to your personal tutor if you are struggling, so we can offer guidance and help to explore your options, including academic policies in place to support you.

I need safety advice

Whether you are on the university campus, in the surrounding area, or online, find guidance on how to keep yourself and others as safe as possible.

I need support with money and financial issues

We know that with the rising cost of living, you may be feeling concerned about managing your money at university. You'll find information on these pages to help manage your finances, and details of who is here to support you.
