How to apply

In order to avoid delay in the application process, you are strongly advised to read all the text below before clicking on Apply online. Applications are open all year round and early application is essential. Courses often fill three months before the course start date.

Course start date
You are asked to specify start month and year in the Purpose of Study Statement section.

Accreditation of prior accredited or experiential learning (APL)
APL may be available subject to a detailed application process. The prior learning should have taken place within the last 5 years (N.B. special rules apply to PGAs and APL and you are advised to contact the course team to discuss). APL may be accepted for no more than one third of a course (i.e. 20 credits PG Certificate, 40 credits PG Diploma or 60 credits MA). It is the applicant's responsibility to show clearly how the learning outcomes within modules in the receiving programme have been met at postgraduate level. All applications will need to be completed prior to being accepted for admission. Early application is advised as it can take 2 or 3 months or longer to process APL applications. This is in addition to the time needed to apply for the course. Official evidence of award, modules, credits, level, learning outcomes and coursework will be needed. Please contact us for the correct form and more information if needed. For full guidance on applying for APL please see the University webpage here.

Specifying course
Once in the PG Admissions screens, please specify which course you are applying to in the Purpose of Study Statement section (i.e.PG Certificate, PG Diploma or MA)
