The closing date to apply for the Centre for Lifelong Learning PhD Scholarship is 30 April 2024.

You must submit an application to study on our PhD programme at the same time as you apply for this scholarship as we cannot confirm the scholarship award unless a course offer has been made. The scholarship application form is located in the link on this page. You will be asked to explain how your proposal fits our two criteria (500 words max).

Please note that the 500 word scholarship application form is separate from your PhD application. You supply your research proposal as part of the PhD application.

Applicants and/or their intended supervisor(s) may be contacted for more information and/or asked for a short interview to help with the application process.

Once a decision has been reached, successful applicants will be contacted via email by the end of June 2024. Please do not contact CLL before this date to enquire about results. If we do not contact you by this time, this would mean your application has been unsuccessful.
