Politics and International Studies students in conversation

This course provides you with an encompassing understanding of international politics in a globalised world.

The Integrated Year Abroad in Year 2 at the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG) will give you the opportunity to experience the study and practice of politics at the heart of the European Union and still complete your Warwick degree within 3 years.

The curriculum focuses on the study of Global Politics with an emphasis on International Relations, International Security, International Political Economy and the role of Europe in the world. It combines existing course content from the undergraduate programmes in Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at Warwick and the Brussels School of Governance at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

During the year in Brussels there will also be opportunities for you to take internship placements as part of your study programme. You will critically engage with theoretical and empirical approaches at two universities in two different educational systems to give you a comprehensive understanding of global political ideas, problems and issues.
