Careers Focus is a series of talks and workshops designed to help you explore career options, build practical skills, and connect study with future opportunities. Whether you’re starting to think about what’s next or ready to take your next step, these sessions will give you insights, inspiration, and confidence for life after Warwick.

Personal Development Programme: Thrive™
A Thrive™ programme specifically for Faculty of Arts students will be running in Spring 2027. Applications for the programme are open NOW until December 31st 2026 via this application form.
Thrive™ is an interactive in-person programme, delivered by an experienced team here at Warwick, to support students with their confidence, resilience and agency. Open to undergraduates and postgraduates, Thrive™ is free to attend.

Monday 12th October 2026, 3-5pm, Careers, Employability and Skills Hub (Senate House, SH0.01)
This event is intended to provide insight into the different roles and career paths open to you in the public sector. Representatives from organisations working in the public sector will deliver a series of presentations. Economics, Finance and Consulting Fair

Step into a world of possibilities by meeting top graduate employers and joining talks and workshops designed to give you real insight into your future career options.
Run in partnership with the Department of Economics and Warwick Business School, this fair is open to everyone, whether you study Economics, Engineering, English, or anything in between. Whatever stage you're at, you’ll find opportunities, ideas, and advice to help you explore what you want to do next and stand out in a competitive job market.

Have you recently returned from a work placement, or are you thinking about doing one?
Come along on Thurs 15th Oct, anytime between 10:00-12:00, in the Student Hub. Drop in for 15 mins to hear your peers talk or stay for the hour to take part in the Q&A, ask questions, network with peers, share your own experience and find out about the support available around studies, careers and wellbeing. The session is repeated in the second hour.

This virtual Marketing event will give you an inside take on a host of career opportunities within the sector. The panel event will cover a cross-section of roles and companies to give you a realistic insight, and help you consider what might be the career that will best suit you, whilst highlighting the challenges and current market climate. They will provide a realistic insight into the day-to-day work within different areas of the media sector and, following the panel event, there will be an opportunity for questions. URSS - The Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) gives Warwick undergraduate students the opportunity to design and carry out an independent, non-assessed research project with support from a Warwick academic over the summer. Students can apply for bursary funding up to £1500 to support their research,
