Ancient Ancient Drama Day for Schools - 27th January 2015
On 27th January 2015 Aristophanes Thesmophoriazusae will be performed in the main theatre of Warwick University's prestigious Arts Centre by the Warwick Classics Students. Surrounding the play will be a host of seminars and lectures specifically for school students on aspects of ancient theatre, comedy, the place of women in ancient society, the culture of ancient and modern comedy as well as its relationship to tragedy suitable for GCSE and AS/AS students in Classics, English and Drama.
