BA; MA; DPhil (Oxford). Reader in Medieval Literature; current Director of Undergraduate Studies. 


Research interests 

Religious and devotional literature from the twelfth to the fifteenth centuries in Middle English and Latin, with an emphasis on writing by and for women; religious and courtly allegory; Arthurian literature, from the medieval to the modern period.

Teaching and supervision 

She currently teaches the undergraduate core modules: Medieval to Renaissance and The Epic Tradition, and the undergraduate option modules: Arthurian Literature and its Legacy and Chaucer.

She supervises PhD students in various areas of medieval literature.
