Capital Reading Group

In 2009, I co-directed a reading group that studied Karl Marx's Capital.

We met weekly and did a close reading of the first volumne of Capital. The group was composed of students, staff and faculty from different departments.

Psychoanalysis, Literature and Practice

In 2011-12 I participated in the Psychoanalysis, Literature and Practice seminar at The School of Advanced Study/Institute of English Studies at the University of London.

Language Training

I have studied German through the Language Centre at the University of Warwick. In 2009 - 2010, I completed the Accelerated Beginning Course and in 2010- 2011 the German 4 course.

In the Summer of 2010 I completed the Level A2.2 German course at the Goethe Institute in Berlin. This was partly funded by a grant from the Department of English at Warwick.

I am currently studying German through a distance learning course with the Goethe Institute. I am in level B1.1.

PG Tutor's Training

In 2010 - 2011 I completed the PG tutor's training through the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning at The University of Warwick.

In 2011 I was awarded the Postgraduate Award: Introduction to Academic and Professional Practice, from the Learning and Development Centre at The University of Warwick.
