Interesting 50 min doc about the Canadian tar sands - in which an area the size of England is being excavated in order to get Bitumen (a fossil fuel source even more polluting than oil).
It focuses heavily on resistence, so probably more relevant to term two stuff, but I think opens up some possible ways of considering attitdes towards the enviroment(/oikeios) as taking up an overtly political stance, one which aims to break up hegemony.
