Travel to Milburn House
The University of Warwick is located approximately three miles from the centre of Coventry (not in Warwick). General information about how to get to the University, including transport links from airports and surrounding residential areas, can be found here.
The symposium itself takes place in Milburn House. Below is a map of central campus with Milburn house clearly marked by a red rectangle. You can also find the interactive map of the campus here.
Travel by Train
There are two ways of getting to campus. The first is by travelling to Coventry. There are number 12 and 11 buses from Coventry railway station. Remain in the station and take the outside steps by the car park to the bus stop. These run roughly every 15 minutes, cost between two and three pounds and will take you to the University in about 15 to 20 minutes. Please note that exact change is needed on this service.
Alternatively, you can travel to Leamington Spa railway station and then taking a U1, U2 or number 11 bus to the University. These buses are equally frequent and a little over three pounds for a return journey. Again, please note that the number 11 requires passengers to have exact change. With the main entrance to Leamington station behind you, cross the road towards the opposite corner, and walk towards the overhead railway bridge, past the old pub on the corner. The bus stop is easy to see and anyone can direct you. It takes between 20 and 30 minutes and it is clear when you have arrived on Campus.
Travel by Car
If you are travelling by car, take the A46 to Coventry from the motorway. Do not turn off at Leamington Spa or Warwick – the University is located on the outskirts of Coventry. You can use the postcode CV47HS to get to Milburn House, but due to current building work we recomment parking at the Westwood Sports Centre Car park at CV4 7AL, which is a pay and display car park. From there you only have to cross Kirby Corner Road and come in the top gate into the Milburn House car park. For more information on parking, including pricing, please click here.
Taxi
There is a taxi rank on central campus, next to the bus interchange.
