eduroam Mac OS X 10.8 Setup

1. From the desktop screen, click on the Wi-Fi icon and then select "Open Network Preferences".

2. In the Network Preferences screen, ensure that Wi-Fi is switched on and selected in the left-hand pane. Click on the “Advanced” button.

3. Under the list of preferred networks, click the plus "+" symbol to add a new Wi-Fi network.

4. Type the network name you intend to connect to i.e. “eduroam” and ensure the following settings are selected:

  • Security: WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
  • Mode: Automatic
  • Enter your University's single sign on username e.g. cuddp@warwick.ac.uk and password then click OK

You may receive an information message asking you to review the server certificate. Click "Continue".

Once complete you will be able to access the University Network and Internet.
