Hotspot-secure Mac OS X 10.8 Setup

1. From the desktop screen, click on the Wi-Fi icon and then select "Open Network Preferences".

2. In the Network Preferences screen, ensure that Wi-Fi is switched on and selected in the left-hand pane. Click on the “Advanced” button.

3. Under the list of preferred networks, click the plus "+" symbol to add a new Wi-Fi network.

4. Type the network name you intend to connect to i.e. “hotspot-secure” and ensure the following settings are selected:

• Security: WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
• Mode: Automatic
• Enter your IT Services Username and Password then click OK

You may receive an information message asking you to review the server certificate. Click "Show Certificate".

Verify the certificate:

To ensure you are connecting to the correct network should verify the following:

The certificate name is "warwick-wireless1.warwick.ac.uk" or "warwick-wireless2.warwick.ac.uk"

The certificate is issued by "TERENA SSL CA" and expires 20th August 2016

Click "Continue"

Once complete you will be able to access the Internet.
