33rd Annual BrANCH Conference

University of Warwick, 9th (12 noon) to 11th October 2026 (2pm)

Peter Parish Memorial Lecture (Friday at 17:30): Mia Bay (University of Cambridge) - The Streetcar Wars: Streetcars, Segregation and Social Change in the 19th Century United States.

BrANCH Keynote (Saturday at 17:30): Manisha Sinha (University of Connecticut) - The Rise and Fall of the Second American Republic

Rates:

  1. Full residential (single) rate: £340

  2. Full residential double-room* (sharing) rate: £500
    *Please note: double-rooms (for double-occupancy) have a double bed, not twin beds.

  3. Full residential rate for unfunded or precariat postgraduates and ECRs / unfunded ECRs: £170.
    Please note: spaces at this rate are limited, and will operate on a first come first served basis.

  4. Non-residential rate: £200 (this means absolutely no accommodation, but includes lunches, dinners, and wine receptions Fri-Sun).

  5. No day rates are offered.
