Parliamentary papers

House of Commons' Parliamentary Papers (on-campus access) include a wide array of reports related to every conceivable colonial matter, from slavery in the 19th century to development in the mid-20th century. On-campus access is through and search by colony name and/or theme.

United States national archives

The US National Archives has digitised correspondence between the State Department in Washington DC and the embassies in Eastern Africa for the period 1973-5 can be found online. Search by country. When the results are displayed, select the link for 'Central Foreign Policy Files, created, 7/1/1973 - 12/31/1975, documenting the period 7/1/1973 ? - 12/31/1975'
