• Florin (a website on Florence created by Julia Bolton Holloway which contains among other things biographies of some of the women buried in the 'English' cemetery in Florence)
• Garibaldi and the Risorgimento (at Brown University)
• Grand Tour (collection of essays and primary sources)
• The Grand Tour Project (from Stanford University focusing on architects on the grand tour)
• Interactive timeline of the Risorgimento
• Nineteenth-Century Newspapers (the Library also has subscriptions to The Times, Guardian/Observer, Daily Mail, Illustrated London News and a range of nineteenth-century periodicals)
• Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (an essential starting point for researching any key figure)
