Visiting Student Module Preferences Form Term 2

Completing the form

Please note that modules listed on this form may be subject to change and we cannot guarantee that all modules will be available. Filling in this form is to advise us of your preferred modules only; your actual module allocation will be confirmed at a later date. We can also only offer spaces for modules that are provided by the School of Modern Languages and Cultures: if you wish to take modules from other departments, then you will need to contact those departments directly.

Please select enough modules as 1st choice to cover the required number of CATS you are required to take. Remember that UK University CATS are equivalent to half the number of ECTS. So 15 CATS at a UK University is equivalent to 7.5 ECTS.

Following this, please also indicate 2nd and 3rd choices, equal to the number of 1st choice modules you have selected. This is because spaces are limited on each module and you may not be allocated to your 1st choice.

Modules from other departments

Please tell us in the box below of the modules outside of the SMLC you are hoping to take, including the CATS for each. Please note that we cannot confirm spaces for you on modules offered by other departments, but this will allow us to ensure that you are taking the correct amount of CATS for your length of study.
