Dr James Hodkinson, together with colleagues from his Occident-Orient Research Network, have produced a volume of essays on the still under-researched theme of Germanic, central and eastern European forms of Orientalism during the long nineteenth century. This book is being published by Camden House on December 3 2013. It has been described as 'required reading' by professor Robert Lemon of Oklahoma State University and is the product of several years of intensive work.
