Information for General Medical Council applicants.
Applicants successful in being shortlisted will be invited to attend Multi Mini Interviews in January each year. You will be invited to choose one from a range of possible dates but we cannot accommodate alternative dates. Morning or afternoon slots are available, and you can expect to be with us for approximately 2 hours. Warwick will select approximately 450 candidates to attend MMIs each year.
Invitations to attend the Multi Mini Interview will be sent out in early December.
Multi Mini Interviews
You will take part in six Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs).
The detail of the exercises may change each year, but the competencies we look for are:
- Team working
- Respect and dignity
You will be observed and scored on the exercises by trained assessors. They come from a range of backgrounds including medical professionals, academics and lay people with an interest in medical education.
Scores for each exercise are combined and applicants achieving the highest total score will be made an offer.
Offers will be made following the Selection Centre (usually within one month).
