Rahman’s PhD project was focused on Enzymology of Lignin degradation by Bacteria and study of recently found Encapsulin, a proteinaceous Nano-compartment. His current project focuses on Engineering of DyP-type peroxidase Enzyme and finding new extracellular bacterial enzymes in lignin degradation.
