Pre-arrival reading list
While there are no required pre-requisite reading materials, students often ask us for suggestions for reading before they begin their course. This is a selection of reading material recommended by our module leaders and course directors.
You may also be interested in exploring our Academic Essentials page, especially if it has been some time since you last studied.
Module reading lists
Each module has its own reading list on its Moodle page. You are not required to purchase textbooks: many books, e-books and journals will be available to you through Warwick Library once you enrol.
The Library also organises and runs events for you to get involved with so be sure to attend one of the Library’s welcome sessions so that you know how to best utilise this facility.
Study Spaces
There are study spaces available on all of the Library floors.
There is also a study space on the Gibbet Hill campus called the BioMed Grid. This is used by students in Life Sciences and the Medical School. The books in the BioMed grid are available to use whilst studying in the space but they cannot be taken away for use at home.
