The Role of the Men’s Shed in a hospice day service context: Identifying features of a successful group and developing recommendations to expand the service
The Marie Curie West Midlands hospice has an established and successful Men’s Shed group. To help expand this popular and valued service to other Marie Curies hospices, this project will identify the distinguishing features of what makes a Men Shed in a hospice context successful, develop guidance for specific palliative care contexts, and verify this though supporting their implementation at a second Marie Curie site that currently does not have a Men Shed group.
