Aims and Learning Outcomes

By the end of the module the student should be able to:

  • Operate safely and effectively in the science graduate research environment at University of Warwick
  • Demonstrate a systematic understanding of the principles of interdisciplinary biomedical research
  • Critically evaluate interdisciplinary approaches to biomedical research in a range of research areas (to include projects under the general remit of Quantitative Biomedical Imaging)
  • Present research ideas and results to scientific audiences
  • Understand how to adapt their research skills to the requirements of varied and complex scientific contexts
  • Undertake systematic and complex searches of research literature and scientific information services
  • Write scientific reports
