❝ For me the best thing about studying at Warwick is the huge range of backgrounds that students come from. Everyone has their own experiences and strengths that they can use to contribute to the teaching and support one another’s learning. Group work and clinical partnerships are a key part of the course and through these I have met so many interesting people and made great friends, many of whom will become colleagues when we start work as foundation doctors. ❞ - Fred Marlowe Phase III student

Your Warwick

Although our programme is fast-paced, life at medical school isn’t all about academic work. There’s a lot more to squeeze into your busy schedule.

Campus Facilities

The University of Warwick campus is beautiful in all senses of the word; ‘picturesque’ just doesn’t quite cover it. However, in the spirit of not just being a ‘pretty face’, our campus has everything you need on your doorstep, including a grocery store, NHS Health Centre, pharmacy, travel agent and post office on site. Explore our incredible sports facilities, green spaces and more with our 360º Virtual Tour.

Student Societies

The University is home to over 300 societies covering the most diverse interests – politics, sports, campaigning, music, drama, volunteering and much more! However, as our students lead such busy lives, they’ve set up many of their own societies too. MedSoc (The University of Warwick Medical Society) represents all students at WMS.

Food and Drink

We have cafés, bars and restaurants across campus, offering a wide variety of delicious food options to buy, eat in or take out – from coffee and cake, pub food to freshly made baguettes. There’s also a regular food market on the Piazza.

Our Location

Situated in the heart of England, Warwick Medical School is located on the border of Coventry and Warwickshire, providing easy access to the cities of Coventry and Birmingham and the beautiful, historic towns of Warwick, Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Well-served by public transport, you can reach London in under an hour and Manchester in under two hours. Thanks to Birmingham Airport being just under 30-minutes from Coventry, international travel is right on your doorstep too!
