What do we do?

Our department wants to inspire the next generation of scientists. We do this by engaging with different groups, from school children, teachers, brownies and families to members of the general public. We are enthusiastic about sharing the research that we do and the benefit it brings to the world around us.

Who are we?

We are around 200 members of staff and 1000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from all different backgrounds and all around the world who work together to explore, discover and advance science.
