Law Alumnus is appointed Executive Dean at Vinayaka Mission’s Law School

Congratulations to Warwick Law School alumnus Siddharth Raja on his appointment as Executive Dean at Vinayaka Mission’s Law School (VMLS) in India. Siddharth studied on our LLM in International Economic Law in 1997/98, and has nearly three decades of legal practice in India and overseas.

Law Alumnus appointed to rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)

Congratulations to Warwick Law School alumnus Olanrewaju Akinsola on his appointment to the esteemed rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). Olanrewaju, who studied on our LLM in International Economic Law (2004), is a Lead Partner at Priory Terrace Solicitors, and has been chosen by The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) to be appointed to the rank of SAN for making exceptional contributions to the legal profession in Nigeria.

Invited Lecture: Ryan Calo joins the Regulation and Technology Governance class

On 11 December 2025, Warwick Law School welcomed Professor Ryan Calo of the University of Washington School of Law to deliver an invited lecture on the challenges of regulating emerging technologies. The online talk was held as part of the LA319/LA919 Regulation and Technology Governance module led by Dr Svitlana Lebedenko.

Labour Law students engage with MRC archives

For their final lecture, Labour Law in Context students had the opportunity to learn about the Modern Records Centre (MRC) archives and explore historical documents through a hands-on interactive exercise. Founded in 1973 and located adjacent to the Warwick campus Library, the MRC is the main British repository for national archives of trade unions and labour relations.
