Lancet Psychiatry Commission on youth mental health

Professor Swaran Singh is one of a group of prominent international academics who has made a significant contribution to the Lancet Psychiatry Commission on youth mental health published on 13 August 2024.

Professor Singh said, “The pandemic aftermath has highlighted the critical requirement to address the deficiency in youth mental health services. It is based on the latest evidence, to which we at University of Warwick have contributed over the years. Current provision in UK is in stark contrast between where we are and where this report asks us to be. It is a timely reminder of the importance of investing in our young people and working with our NHS and community partners to make change and improve outcomes. The report will be hugely influential in impactfully changing policy and practiceacross the globe.”
