'Against Prejudice: Ira Aldridge, Theatre Manager' to be performed at Shakespeare's Globe
Professor Tony Howard, of the University of Warwick’s Department of English and Comparative Studies, will lead a panel of performers and scholars on Tuesday 19th September at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, following a performance of 'Against Prejudice: Ira Aldridge, Theatre Manager', in considering the importance of Ira Aldridge’s achievements for his time and ours.
Coventry pays tribute to African-American actor Ira Aldridge
