The University of Warwick has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 universities in the Guardian University Guide 2022, placing 6th – a rise of two places. The news follows shortly after Warwick was named as one of the UK’s top 10 and world’s top 80 universities by the Times Higher Education (THE).

China welcomes world’s largest scenario database for autonomous vehicle safety

The Safety PoolTM Scenario Database, the largest public repository of scenarios for testing autonomous vehicles in the world — led by WMG at the University of Warwick and Deepen AI —will now be used in China, thanks to a new partnership with Automotive Data of China, a subsidiary of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC).


Prof. Lord Bhattacharyya building named one of the UK’s best new buildings in RIBA 2021 National Awards

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has today (Thursday 9 September) announced the 54 winners of the 2021 RIBA National Awards for architecture, which includes the Professor Lord Bhattacharyya building, home to NAIC (National Automotive Innovation Centre) at WMG, University of Warwick.

Experts in elite sports communication from the University of Warwick will be working with one of the UK’s top motor racing teams to look at language use in a Formula 1™ team during live racing events. The Sports Culture and Communication Research Collective within the Department of Applied Linguistics and the Williams Racing F1 team will apply a linguistic lens to communication in the high-pressure context of Grand Prix racing.
