Step 5: The Experience

All information around Recruiting & Experience is based on the 'gold standard' of work experience, for example an internship or placement, and is informed by current good practice as defined by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Institute of Student Employers and professional careers bodies ASET and AGCAS. Please select the information you find useful to inform your chosen types of opportunity.

In addition to this website resource, we have two employer guides:

  • Supporting a remote working internship areas to support you in preparing to host, manage and finalise a remote internship to support your project and provide a quality experience
  • How to optimise your intern's contribution – understand how you can prepare to host an intern, understand your responsibilities and hear insights into students’ expectation. Provided to host organisations as part of the Warwick Internship Programme, but can be used if you are hosting an internship
