Managing Depressive Feelings

Who is it for?

Students who are struggling with feelings of depression and would like to explore some new ways of moving forward.


In this session you will cover:

  • Symptoms of depression and how it can affect different people in different ways
  • Causes of depression and how it can lead to a 'downward spiral'
  • Ways of coping with and moving out of depression

What will I get out of this?

By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of:

  • Your own experience of and reactions to depression
  • A variety of resources that you can draw on to help move out of depressive cycles
  • How to develop healthy lifestyle patterns which can prevent prolonged periods of depression
