Who is it for?

This session is for students who struggle to strike the right balance between work and life outside of their work/studies. If you want to learn more about 'work life balance' and explore ways to achieve the right balance for you, come and join the Work Life Balance workshop.

Please note: The focus of this workshop is on 'wellbeing' as opposed to a similar workshop the Careers and Skills Service deliver entitled 'Organising yourself and your time' which focuses more on 'time management'.

  • This workshop aims to increase an understanding of what is meant by 'work life balance' and explore ways to achieve this balance and in turn improve one’s overall 'wellbeing'. The workshop will look at strategies in order to fit the things that you value in life and identify what works best for you.

What will I get out of this?
  • To understand the importance of a good work/life balance.
  • Identifying the right balance for you.
  • Strategies for how you can strike / achieve a good balance.
